Security authorities in Sudan’s West Kordofan have demolished al-Huda market in al-Kliek locality of Heglig area on Friday.

Residents said the move is to relocate them from the area to allow oil exploration by oil companies.

Several citizens told Radio Tamazuj the residents of the area went to the presidency to hand a petition in July 2014 calling for more services to the area including health, education, water and roads but no one listened to them.

They said the authorities asked them to be relocated to Fama area but they refuse to be relocated.
