At least 38 people have been arrested for different crimes in a crackdown in Kuajok town of Gogrial state, the local police commissioner told Radio Tamazuj.
Police commissioner Major General John Akot Maluth told media that those arrested have been charged for different crimes ranging from gambling, prostitution, alcoholic consumption, and roaming the market at night.
The police boss said that Monday night’s operations aimed to implement recent orders issued by the state government
In September, the police arrested 23 women for similar crimes.
