A Land Cruiser vehicle belonging to the Catholic Church was robbed at gunpoint by unknown gunmen at Gurei residential areas in South Sudan’s capital Juba today morning.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj this afternoon, South Sudan police spokesperson, Daniel Justin Boula confirmed the incident this afternoon, saying they are still investigating the armed robbery.
“The robbers went to the church like people going to pray. They were driving a car, so they went to the church and robbed the Land Cruiser at gunpoint inside the church,” said Justin.
Daniel denied report that members of the SPLA army were involved in the armed robbery.
