Armed men believed to be SPLA soldiers shot dead one man in his house in Rock City after they robbed him on Friday, according to local sources from the neighborhood.

The same group allegedly first harassed a South Sudanese aid worker, stole his smart phone at gunpoint in front of his resident in Rock City at about 8:30 PM the same night.

“They were four in number and they were passing by when they saw me standing in front of my compound,” the aid worker said.

The gunmen pointed their guns at the aid worker who did not fear them but told them there was no need for them to shoot him. “There is no point to kill people my friends, we are civilians,” the aid worker says he told the gunmen.

The aid worker said that one of the gunmen urged his other colleagues not to shoot. Shortly after that they went to another house in the area and shot dead one man.
