Most of the shops targeted belonged to Eritrean, Darfurian, and Ethiopian business people.

“The attackers came in the night and broke the doors while others broke the wall and penetrated into the shops and took a lump sum amount of money and business including business items like computers, valuable electronics and many others all gone,” he said.
He said they have called themselves under one umbrella to meet the governor and express their business and security risks in Yei town.
