Amadi State Governor Joseph Ngere Pacikogo has complained about insecurity due to the presence of armed groups in his state.

Ngere told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that forces loyal to Riek Machar attacked a vehicle belonging to the SPLA in Katebi area on Sunday evening. However, he didn’t give further details about the incident.

The state official accused the SPLA-IO soldiers of looting citizen’s properties in the state. The governor called on the opposition group to stop fighting and join cantonment sites established by the government in the state.
