Sudan’s al-Jareeda newspaper has resumed publication on Sunday after it ceased publication for two days in protest over National Security repeated seizure of its print runs.
The editor-in-chief of al-Jareeda newspaper said in statement on Saturday that the newspaper will cease publication in protest over seizure of its copies by National Security but confirmed they will resume publication Monday.
He said they will send letters to the Media Council and Union of Journalists and Directorate of Media at the Sudan’s National Security Service.
Sudan’s National Security has seized copies of Al-Jareeda four times without any explanations.
