Citizens in Al Firdos locality in Sudan’s East Darfur State are reportedly experiencing a lack of drinking water, health, and education services.
Al Firdos Locality Commissioner Hamdan Adam Al-Bushra admitted there is need for boreholes for drinking water and renovation of educational and health facilities especially in rural areas.
Al-Bushra vowed basic services will be provided in the coming months after pledges made by the relevant ministries.
