The newly appointed governor of Akobo State, Timothy Taban Juch on Wednesday named his deputy, ministers and state advisers.

Governor Taban named Stephen Tut Puot as deputy governor, replacing Wiyual Mut.

The appointed ministers:

Joseph Lual Obang – Minister of Local Government

Mrs. Achalla Aballa – Minister of Information

 Peter Gatkuoth Makuach – Minister of Finance

Pal Reat Mutleek -Minister of Physical Infrastructure

Gatwech Chuol- Minister of Agriculture

Gordon Koang Bar – Minister of Education

Mrs. Mary Tap Koda – Minister of Gender

George Gatwech Gony – Minister of Cooperatives

Wiyual Koang Puot – Minister of Health

Separately, the state governor appointed advisors, among them Gabriel Gai Riam (governance), Doyak Chuol Dol (political affairs), Thomas Omot (security affairs), Anna Moses (gender) and Wiyual Mut (peace affairs).

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, Governor Taban vowed to build strong relations with the state lawmakers and the locals for effective service delivery.

The top state official pointed out that his administration will prioritize education and health.
