An airplane landed roughly Sunday at noon at Yida airstrip causing no deaths or serious injuries. There were four crew on board the plane.In Yida the crash was attributed to engine failure before the landing. The pilot tried to control the craft but it was carrying a heavy load, damaging the front of the aircraft on landing.
Yida is a refugee camp in north-east Unity State on the border with South Kordofan. The camp is serviced by several international NGOs.
