Gunmen robbed aid workers traveling between Maridi and Yambio at the '7 Mile' area yesterday, according to an NGO source.

The aid workers are working for International Aid Services, which works in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene.

The team was going to Northern Bahr El Ghazal to work on some boreholes, said a staff member of IAS. “Gunmen looted 510 SSP from our staff at Mile 7,” he said.
