Aid agencies rehabilitate Bunj Hospital

Citizens in Maban County in South Sudan’s Upper Nile witnessed the launch of the Bunj Hospital yesterday after it had been rehabilitated and extended.

Citizens in Maban County in South Sudan’s Upper Nile witnessed the launch of the Bunj Hospital yesterday after it had been rehabilitated and extended.

The event was attended by several aid agencies and US Ambassador to South Sudan Susan Page as well as a representative of the national Health Ministry.

Mayak Malok, the Director of Health Services in Maban County, told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the facility was inaugurated by several international originations.

The facility was launched by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Samaritan’s Purse as well as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees‫” , he explained.

Malok pointed out that the hospital can now be able to provide treatment and other health services to residents and refugees.
