Sudan’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the admissions to universities and other higher learning institutions will be released next week.
Over 174,000 students applied for admission to universities, topping the ministry’s expectations of 165,900 applicants.
Osama Mohamed Al Awad, Director of Information and Public Relations told the Sudanese News Agency (SUNA) that there will be a meeting chaired by the minister and the department of admission and some specialists this weekend to discuss the result of the applications process and its details before the admission results are announced next week.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research previously set a deadline of two weeks for the submission of application forms.
