Civil activists in Damazin, the capital of Sudanese Blue Nile State took part in a 3-day workshop to create awareness on how to combat and reduce corruption in the society.
The workshop which was organised by the Cultural Awareness Association in solidarity with the State Peace Council concluded on Monday.
A civil activist who preferred to be identified only as Nouraldin told Radio Tamazuj that the workshop dealt with issues related to the promotion of values of effective citizenry, including strategic planning to fight and resist corruption in the society and to raise awareness of the dangers and spread of corruption.
The workshop brought together more than 15 activists and civil administration elders.
