Around 500 children are being treated with pneumonia at the Agok hospital each day, doctors say.
Acting medical director in the Agok hospital Dr. Martin Aban described the wet environment and water around houses as an incubator for infectious bacteria. He said children breathe the contaminated air and get sick with pneumonia and advised parents to get rid of water around houses to avoid disease.

Floods affect crops
