Abiem and Gogrial communities hold dance

Neighboring communities from Northern Bahr El Ghazal and Warrap states held a seven day dance festival at Majak-Awar. The event grew out of a conference that was held last June between the two state governments, attended by five commissioners including the Aweil East Commissioner Awet Kiir Awet and Western Gogrial Commissioner Makuc Aru Luach.These two county leaders initiated the event in order to promote peaceful co-existence, social interaction, tolerance and integration in all aspects of life, according to remarks delivered at the event. Two communities of western Gogrial, Awan Pajok and Awan Rup, and communities of Abiem East and Center staged the dance.
