At least nine people including two police officers were killed in an attack by cattle raiders in Budi County of South Sudan’s Eastern Equatoria state last Tuesday.

Titas Lokushuma, the Deputy Chairman of Security Committee in Lomurnyang, told Radio Tamazuj the police officers were killed while following the raiders after the attack at Shugdum cattle camp where seven civilians were killed.

He said they received information that the raiders came from Ikotos County.
