At least seven people were killed and five wounded in an attack by unknown gunmen in Turalei area in South Sudan’s Warrap State.

At least seven people were killed and five wounded in an attack by unknown gunmen in Turalei area in South Sudan’s Warrap State.

The commissioner of Twic County, Joseph Majak, told Radio Tamazuj the incident happened when gunmen attacked a cattle camp at Koc area on Saturday and raided over 160 cattle.

He added that the wounded were taken to the hospital but two died of their wounds. The commissioner said the authorities did not manage to arrest the culprits.
