50 Blue Nile families arrive in S Sudan refugee camp

Over 50 families forcibly displaced in Sudan’s Blue Nile State have crossed to Maban County of South Sudan’s Upper Nile State, a refugee leader said.

Over 50 families forcibly displaced in Sudan’s Blue Nile State have crossed to Maban County of South Sudan’s Upper Nile State, a refugee leader said.

Al Omda Al Amir from Kaya refugee camp told Radio Tamazuj that nearly 50 Blue Nile families mostly women and children arrived in the camp recently. He said the new arrivals hail from the Angesina Mountains.

Al Amir revealed that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) provided assistance to the conflict-affected people.
