A South Sudanese family said they are looking for a five-year-old boy who has gone missing in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The family told Radio Tamazuj Tuesday that Biar Pel Mabior disappeared from their home in the Donholm area since 20 January.

Akech Malith, a family member, said the child was in the house with his aunt.” The boy disappeared when his aunt fell asleep,” she said.

Family members looked on their own for some time before calling the police and South Sudan’s embassy in Nairobi, Malith said.

She pointed out that the family members were worried about the missing boy.   Anyone with information about Biar is urged to call the family, she said.

“Anyone with information about the boy can call +254799419975 immediately. Also, the family will give 100, 000 Kenya Shillings ($1,000) to whoever finds the boy,” Malith said.
