Four people including a 9-year old child were wounded on Tuesday when unknown gunmen attacked Nyuak payam of Twic East County in South Sudan’s Jonglei State.

Dau Akoi Jurkuch, Twic East County Commissioner, told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that an armed group came and attacked people on their farm.

He pointed out that the incident resulted in the wounding of at least four people including a child. Dau accused elements of the SSDM-Cobra Faction from neighbouring Boma State of involvement in the attack.
