At least four people were killed and two others injured in clashes between police and nomads at Kuri area in al Mazmum Locality in Sudan’s Sennar state on Sunday.
A government source told Radio Tamazuj that a herder stabbed a police officer to death, prompting his colleagues to attack of a group of nomads in the area.
Meanwhile, a herder noted that at least two people were killed and two others injured from their side during the clashes with the police.
The herder whose relative was killed blamed the police for the incident.
