31 out of 37 survivors in the plane crash in Wau town on Monday have been discharged from Wau Teaching Hospital on Tuesday, a local official said.
Speaking during a press conference in Wau on Tuesday, Bona Gudnisio, Information Minister in Wau Stat, said the plane made a crash landing in poor weather, causing about 37 injuries but all 49 passengers and crew survived.
He pointed out that six wounded people are expected to be discharged soon. However, he said one of the survivors was still receiving treatment at the hospital.
Gudnisio revealed that a team from the national government in Juba will be dispatched to Wau in order to investigate the incident.
