A campaign to vaccinate against six childhood diseases concluded yesterday in Raja county in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el-Ghazal state.
The director of the immunization department, Sutur Anderi Hamid, told Radio Tamazuj from Raja that the vaccination process started on the 12th February and ended yesterday. “The immunization started early in the beginning of the last week and lasted for three days” he claimed before adding that, the campaign targeted more than 3000 children in the area.
Hamid expressed gratitude for the positive response that the vaccination teams received from citizens before confirming that this routine process included all of the county’s rural areas.
