At least three young girls have reportedly been abducted by unknown gunmen at Bilinyang area in Mangala County in South Sudan’s Jubek state on Thursday, a local official said.

Illario Paul, Mangala County Commissioner, told Radio Tamazuj on Friday that unknown gunmen came and abducted three girls as young as 10 years of age in Mangala County.

He pointed out that the police could not arrest the adductors.

Separately, Commissioner Paul said that a policeman was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the area of Bilinyang on November 27.
