At least three SPLA soldiers were killed and 11 others wounded in an attack by gunmen along the Magrwi-Paru road in Imatong State on Wednesday, a source said.
A local leader, who preferred not to be named, told Radio Tamazuj that a military vehicle carrying SPLA soldiers was attacked by unknown gunmen along the Magwi-Paru road on Wednesday.
He pointed out that the incident resulted in the killing of at least three government soldiers and wounding of 11 others.
For his part, Santo Domic, Deputy Spokesman of the SPLA forces, denied knowledge of the incident.
