3 million pounds to compensate victims of Fallata-Salamat fighting

Yusuf Al Samani, deputy nazir of the Fallata tribe, told Radio Tamazuj that about 3 million Sudanese pounds will paid as compensation to  families of the people killed in the fighting between the two sides.

He pointed out that the feuding tribes agreed to pay the compensation in three phases until middle of next year.  Al Samani added that the conference stressed the importance of peaceful coexistence and confidence between the two sides.

The traditional leader stated that the native administration was also tasked to control violators of the peace conference.
