Aweil state police have arrested a murder suspect after knifing a 27-year old man to death on Saturday.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Aweil state police commissioner, Major General Machiek Achol Kueth said the suspect who is also the deceased’s stepfather committed the crime after the deceased called him father.

The suspect insisted he was only married to the mother and was not the father of the deceased. Achol said the suspect is in custody as investigations are ongoing.
