About 220 internally displaced persons, mostly women and children from Uror County in Bieh State, have arrived in the UN Protection of Civilians' site (PoC) in Bor town in search for security and food, a camp manager said.

Thok Chuol, who is in charge of the UN PoC in Bor town, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that the new arrivals were experiencing bad humanitarian conditions in Uror.

He pointed out that some people from Uror are still coming to seek shelter inside the UN camp in Bor town.

Chuol called upon humanitarian organizations to provide food and other services to the new arrivals as soon as possible.
