At least two people including a deputy head chief were killed in inter-clan clashes in Guit County of Northern Liech State last week.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Sunday, Northern Liech state acting governor, Larika Machar said Chieing-Lem clan launched a revenge attack against the Chieing-Kuoth clan of Guit County of Northern Liech State.
He said the two, deputy head Chief Gatyang Phan Geny of the Chieing-Kuoth clan and another person were killed in the clashes.
"State authorities intervened to resolve the crisis and deployed the army between the two clans to reduce tensions," Machar added.
