At least two people were killed and seven others injured after an attack carried out by cattle raiders in Awerial North County in Eastern Lakes State on Thursday, a local official said.
Awerial North County Commissioner Job Aruai told Radio Tamazuj on Friday that a group of cattle raiders believed to be from Yirol came and attack a cattle camp in the area.
He pointed out that the incident resulted in the killing of a man and a man, besides the wounding of seven others.
The commission further said the attackers took 58 heads of cattle, adding that the attackers managed to escape.
