At least two people were killed and four others wounded in an attack by unknown gunmen along the Juba-Bor road on Sunday.

Majok Jok Reng, Chairperson of Driver’s Union in Bor town confirmed the incident. “The attack happened between Malith-thoor and Sudan-Safari” Jok told Radio Tamazuj.

He further said the victims include a Congolese national and South Sudanese who were travelling from Bor to Juba.

He added that three wound are currently in Bor hospital while one person was taken to Juba for treatment.

The Juba-Bor-Pibor roads have witnessed frequent attacks that killed dozens of passengers.
