The executive director of AYA, Repent Woroh, told Radio Tamazuj Tuesday that Emmanuel Ginaba and Yasir Mamur were handed over to him on Monday in juba by the ICRC and were in good health.

“I can confirm to the citizens of South Sudan that I have received two of my staff members who had been abducted since 5 July and they are in good condition,” he said. “We give thanks to all the stakeholders who worked hard for the release of these two staff of AYA.”

“We coordinated with many partners but finally we received them yesterday (Monday) through the ICRC,” he added.

Woroh appealed to armed bandits to stop abducting humanitarian workers because they work to help communities.
