Meanwhile, the Mundri East County Commissioner, Margret Fozia Emmanuel, condemned the incident and called on the criminal to stop ambushing vehicles and people on the road so that the communities of the county can cultivate.
“I want to assure those who are traveling on the road that we will work hard with my security personnel here in the county and my boss, the governor in Yambio, and other senior officers in Juba to make sure that the road is safe for everyone,” Commissioner Fozia reassured. “I wanted to tell my citizens that they should stay calm at home and cultivate. Lastly, I want to tell the people who are ambushing people on the road that the people of Mundri East are people of peace, so they should leave them to live in peace so that they can cultivate.”
