About 2,000 conflict-displaced persons inside the UN Protection of Civilians site in Malakal town in Upper Nile State have crossed to Sudan’s South Kordofan State, a camp leader said.
Aban Yor, an elder from the PoC site told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that about 2,000 conflict-displaced people mostly women and children left the UN camp and crossed to South Kordofan State due to harsh living conditions.
He pointed out that more than 100 displaced persons cross to Abu Jubeiha area in South Kordofan State everyday.
