South Sudan’s Ministry of Health on Friday donated bicycles to 170 students of Yambio Health Science Institute to help them get to school.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, the principal of Yambio Health Science Institute, Dr. Filbert Yangadayo said the bicycles would not only help students in their studies, but further help in advertising the institute.
Juliana Aninyesi, a clinical student, said the bicycles would also help them during research work.
She revealed that the institute still lacks classrooms, teachers and a library.
John Sangbako Filbert, a Nursing student, urged students not to sell the bicycles, while urging other people to join the institute.
Yambio Health Science Institute was established in 2016.
