A 16-year-old girl committed suicide last week after two women allegedly accused her of being pregnant, police authorities said.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday last week, Aweil state police commissioner, Elia Kosta, said the girl hanged herself and dead after being accused by two women of being pregnant.

The police officer pointed out that medical checkups revealed that the late was not pregnant. He revealed the two women were under investigations.
