A 15-year-old South Sudanese girl has gone missing in Nakuru County in neighboring Kenya on Wednesday, a community leader said.
Kut Maketh Duk, leader of the South Sudanese community in Nakuru County, told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday that Angeer Mach Goor, 15, went missing in Nakuru town.
He explained that Angeer went missing after she had gone to a nearby shop in the area.
Maketh said the parents became worried after the primary 8 pupil failed to return home, prompting them to start search for her.
According to Maketh, the family reported the matter to the police. “We also reported the matter to South Sudan’s embassy in Nairobi,” he said.
Anyone with any information about Angeer is urged to call the family, he said.
