Sinnar University has dismissed more than a dozen students for violations of its regulations, the institution said in a statement.
The violations were tied to the students’ involvement in political activities, according to the university’s statement.
The school, a public institution in Sudan, said in a statement seen by Radio Tamazuj on Friday that the students held speeches at the campus discussion corner, an activity banned by the management of the university last year.
In total, 15 students were dismissed, and one student was suspended for one academic year.
