A South Sudanese family in Wau town of Western Bahr el Ghazal State said they are looking for a 13-year-old boy who has gone missing.
Koletta Michael Silvano, the boy’s mother, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that Paulino Daniel Federico was last seen on 16 February in Wau town.
Koletta said Paulino was going to a neighbor’s house but didn’t return home. She is appealing for the public’s help in locating her missing son.
She said family members are increasingly concerned about Paulino’s wellbeing and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police authorities. The mother said the missing boy does not suffer from any medical or mental health issues.
According to the mother, the family reported the matter to the police in Wau. “We reported the issue to the police here in Wau and they told us that they could not find him,” she concluded.
