The health coordinator of refugee camps in Maban County, Upper Nile state, confirmed on Tuesday that 13 people have been recently infected by a “contagious skin disease”.

In an interview with Radio Tamazuj, Dr Malak Mayok, who is also the county director of hygiene, said three camps have been affected so far.

“Seven cases have been reported in Jama, three in Jendresa, and three in Kaya,” he affirmed, adding that Doctors Without Borders (Holland) is taking care of the patients.
