The body of a 21-old boy was on Wedensday found killed at the Dream area in Yei town after a search carried out by local resident and relatives.

School pupil Richard Lemi Christopher was allegedly kidnapped by security agents while returning home from Kanjoro Primary School on 24 October.

Richard’s uncle Clement Taban told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that Richard was picked at gunpoint by security officials at the Dream area on 24 October.

Several local residents urged the government to provide full protection to the people of Yei town. “Where is the national dialogue and peace if people are being killed?” one of the local resident asked.

Police officers say investigations into the incident are underway.
