About 100 youth and women in South Sudan’s Aweil State are to receive free computer and languages training courses.
Help Restore Youth, a national non-governmental entity, is conducting the three months training seeking to empower people.
Bulis Nguak, a representative of the organisation in the area, told Radio Tamazuj Thursday that the training will commence next week.
“Currently, the vocational training center is providing computer courses, English and Arabic courses. For courses in English, we are targeting 20 beneficiaries for three months course; the same applies to Arabic where we are targeting 20 youth and women, said Nguak.
He added, “In computer, our target is 60 for three months and will comprise of youth, women and the vulnerable people.”
Nguak urged all interested learners not to miss the chance seeking to tackle the wide-ranging unemployment levels in the state.
The program is being implemented by Help Restore Youth in collaboration with the Ministry of General Education and Instructions with funding from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
