At least 10 mutilated bodies were found in Bilinyang village in Mangala County of South Sudan’s Jubek State on Monday, a local official said.

Illario Paul, Managal County Commissioner, told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that police authorities found eight men and two women shot dead and chopped with machetes by unknown assailants.

The local official pointed out that the victims were making charcoal when the assailants attacked them in the area. Illario denied involvement of government security organs in the incident, while condemning the killing of unarmed civilians in South Sudan.
