At least one person was killed and another injured after a building collapsed in Marol neighborhood of Bor town in South Sudan’s Jonglei State, a local official said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, James Gai, the mayor of Bor town said the incident occurred on Monday night when young men attempted to remove poles from a building partially demolished.
“That building was not completely demolished so some boys we trying to remove poles from it so that they sell as firewood. But the wall collapsed on them injuring one and killing one,” he said.
