The governor of South Sudan’s Wau state Andrea Mayar Acho said he will work closely with his counterparts in neighbouring Tonj and Gogirial states to tackle insecurity in the area.

Governor Acho told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday that during his visit to Maraial Bai area he urged the locals there to live peacefully with neighbouring communities.

The state official also appreciated the role played by governors of Tonj and Gogrial states towards maintaining peace and stability in the area, noting that there is need to do more.
