The commissioner of Malou Pec County in Gok State, Enock Macuoc Mayol said he has arrested seven suspected public road robbers on Wednesday.   The suspects are among those linked to attacking a military vehicle and looted properties along Malou- Tonj road.

The Commissioner further added that the suspects have now been placed under arrest in Malou Pec police prison and they will be taken to court for more investigation on why they have acted unlawfully. These suspects, according to the local top executive officer in the area, are believed to have attacked a military vehicle traveling from Western Lakes State to Wau state. The attackers looted smart phone and money from the passengers during occasions.

 Passengers have been complaining of the rising daily criminal activities along the road until the county authorities managed to capture those criminals with evidences such as smart phone and others. County commissioner commended the role played by security apparatus in the county for managing to capture the criminals. He appealed to the passengers and the county’s citizens to share information and reports such incidences to the authorities.
