At least three people were killed and four others wounded in an attack by unknown gunmen on a commercial vehicle near Juba on Wednesday afternoon, according to a survivor.

The survivor told Radio Tamazuj that the incident took place along the Torit-Juba road near a military base in Nesitu area. He added that a group of six gunmen opened fire on their vehicle, killing the driver and another passenger on the spot.

The survivor pointed out that the wounded people were taken to Juba Teaching Hospital, where one person died later.
