Bor hospital receives a drug consignment
Health authorities in South Sudan’s Jonglei State say the main hospital in the state received a consignment of life-saving drugs from the national health ministry last week following months of shortage.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, Rachel Amuor Pach, the minister of health in Jonglei State said Bor State Hospital received the consignment after four months shortage.
“There has been an ongoing drug shortage in the hospital for some time. Last week, we received a three-month medical consignment. And we are now preparing to receive more consignment for another three months ahead of the rainy season,” she said.
She pointed out that the drugs were supplied by the national health ministry and its health partners.
