Yida camp needs urgent humanitarian assistance

Refugees living in Yida camp, in Unity state, South Sudan forced to flee aerial bombardment of the Nuba mountain in South Kordofan, are living in desperate conditions.

An official at the camp said to Radio Tamazuj that the food provided is not nearly enough for the thousands of refugees.

She appealed to international aid organizations and the UN to turn their attention to refugees fleeing from the Nuba mountains living in a critical and insecure condition, to provide them with urgent medical and food aid.
